This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use the Puff Deli mobile app (the “App”), including features that let you import media and web links into weekly schedules, create and share public libraries called “Delis,” follow or copy Delis created by others, and use our AI-powered coach and paid premium subscription. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
- What information we collect
We collect information you provide to us, information created during your use of the App, and information from third parties in connection with the App. The categories below describe the types of information we collect.
- Account and profile information
- Information you provide when creating or updating your account (e.g., display name, email address, password).
- Profile details you choose to add (e.g., age or date of birth, height, weight, fitness goals, preferences, and any health or wellness notes you choose to include).
- Content you upload or import
- Media you upload or attach to your weekly schedule (photos, videos, audio files you import from your device).
- Web links you import or save to your weekly schedule or Delis.
- Library content you create, including Delis you designate as public or private (titles, descriptions, resources, tags, categories, and associated media).
- Delis and social interactions
- Public Delis and private Delis you create, including any metadata (author, creation date, visibility, number of followers, copies, etc.).
- Social interactions with Delis (following, liking, commenting, copying, saving, or sharing) and any notes or messages you attach to Delis.
- Usage and device information
- Information about how you use the App (features accessed, pages viewed, search terms, referral source, time stamps).
- Device data (model, operating system, version, device identifiers, language, time zone, IP address, and other unique device identifiers).
- Network information (carrier, connection type, approximate location when you enable location services).
- Crash reports and performance data to help us fix issues.
- Health and fitness data
- Data related to your fitness activities (e.g., workouts, steps, distance, duration, intensity) and any health-related information you provide or infer from your activity. We treat fitness data as personal data and apply appropriate protections.
- Payments and subscription information
- If you purchase a premium subscription, we collect payment-related information through our payment processors (e.g., transaction status, subscription plan, and receipts). We do not store full payment card numbers or sensitive payment data on our servers; this is handled by our payment processors in accordance with their policies.
- Other data
- If you contact us for support, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
- We may collect information about how you interact with marketing communications (e.g., whether you open emails, click on links) if you opt in to communications.
- How we use your information
We use your information to operate, provide, improve, and customize the App, including:
- To enable weekly scheduling, import and organize media and web links, and manage your Delis (including making Delis public or private, following, copying, and viewing public Delis).
- To power the AI-powered coach, personalizing fitness and personal development advice based on your fitness profile and your Delis.
- To enable social features and sharing (e.g., allowing others to view public Delis, follow Delis, copy Delis you’ve made public, or reuse resources).
- To provide, maintain, and improve features and functionality, including performance, reliability, and security.
- To communicate with you (e.g., respond to inquiries, send updates about the App, provide notices about changes to our policies).
- To personalize content and recommendations, including AI-generated coaching tips and suggestions.
- For analytics and product development (understanding how people use the App to improve user experience).
- For security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
- For marketing and promotional activities if you opt in to receive such communications (you can opt out at any time).
- How we share your information
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Public content
- Delis you designate as public are accessible to other users. Public Delis may be followed or copied by other users. When a Delis is made public, content becomes viewable by others and may be distributed or used by others in ways you cannot control. Copying a public Deli creates a new resource under the copier’s account, and they will have access to the copied content as part of their Delis.
- With service providers
- We work with trusted partners and service providers to operate the App (e.g., hosting, data storage, analytics, payment processing, AI services). These providers process information on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
- For legal and safety reasons
- We may disclose your information if required by law or to respond to valid legal requests, protect our rights or the safety of our users, or in connection with a sale, merger, or other corporate transaction.
- With your consent
- We may share information with third parties when you provide explicit consent to do so.
- Aggregated or anonymized data
- We may use and share aggregated or anonymized data that does not identify you personally for research, analytics, and product improvement purposes.
- Data retention and deletion

- We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App and fulfill our legal obligations. We may retain some information for a period even after you close your account to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
- Deletion
- You can delete individual Delis, media, or other content you have uploaded, or delete your entire account (which will remove your personal data from active use in the App, subject to backup retention limitations and legal obligations).
- Backups
- Data may persist in backups for a limited period as part of our disaster recovery and data retention processes.
- AI-powered coach and automated decisions
- How it works
- Our AI-powered coach analyzes data from your fitness profile, Delis, and usage to provide personalized general fitness and personal development advice.
- Transparency and limitations
- The AI provides informational guidance and does not replace professional medical, fitness, or mental health advice. Always assess suitability and consult a professional as needed.
- Your control
- You may adjust your preferences to limit or disable certain AI features where available. In some cases, you may opt out of data used to train AI models; see Your Rights for details.
- Data used for AI
- We may use data you provide (and data generated by your interactions with the App) to train or improve our AI models, unless you opt out of such use where a choice is provided.
- Your rights and choices
- Access and update
- You can access, review, and update your personal data through the App settings or by contacting us.
- Delete and terminate
- You can delete content or your account. Deleting content or your account will remove it from active use, subject to retention and legal requirements described above.
- Data portability
- You may request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format where applicable.
- Restrictions and objections
- You may request restrictions on certain processing and, in some cases, object to automated decision-making or profiling (depending on jurisdiction and the nature of processing).
- Opt-out from marketing and AI training

- Public and user-generated content (Delis)
- Public Delis
- When you mark a Deli as public, that content becomes viewable by other users. They may copy or follow the Deli, and the copied version becomes part of their account.
- Private Delis
- Delis marked as private are only accessible to you and any users you explicitly share them with (if the feature is supported).
- Content responsibility
- You are responsible for the content you upload and share. Do not upload sensitive personal data you do not want others to access. We may remove content that violates our terms or applicable laws.
- Children’s privacy
- The App is not intended for use by children under the age defined by applicable law (e.g., 13 in the GDPR context, or 16 in some regions). If you are under the permitted age, you should use the App only with parental consent where required.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable age without verifiable parental consent. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us to request deletion.
- International transfers
- Your data may be transferred to and stored in servers located outside your country, including countries that may have different data protection laws. We will take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) and legitimate interest bases for any cross-border data transfers.
